Despite our promise to bring you a live commentary of this Sunday's O-League match between Ba and Koloale FC, we regret to advise that we will not be able to bring you that commentary due to a directive given by the Fiji Football Association President Doctor Samshud Dean Sahu Khan that our soccer commentator is not permitted to cover the game.
This directive was given by Doctor Sahu Khan in spite of Communications Fiji Limited's assurances to Fiji FA that our soccer commentary would be undertaken within the guidelines provided by the Fiji FA.
From the 13th of this month, CFL has tried to resolve the matter in relation to soccer commentaries with the Fiji FA's Doctor Sahu Khan and Bob Kumar.
We have written letters and had several telephone conversations to try to set a meeting with the Fiji FA to resolve this issue.
However Doctor Sahu Khan said he will let us know when he is available to talk to CFL.
As it stands, all these issues remain unresolved.
