The Citizens Constitutional Forum has welcomed the developments and decisions taken by the 38th Pacific Island Leaders meeting.

In a statement, CCF Chief Executive officer, Akuila Yabaki said the undertaking by the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama that Fiji will hold elections in two years time and that the Military will accept the results of the elections is a positive sign.

He also said the assurance by Commodore Bainimarama could also assist the interim government with it proposed People's charter as it creates a better plate form for dialogue.
