The concept to remove race based naming of schools is not a new concept and Fiji is already committed in taking away such names.
This is what Reverend Akuila Yabaki of the Citizens Constitutional Forum who said that Fiji under the Geneva Convention is duty bound to do so.
This follows the comments by two Hindu religious organizations that having race based names need to be removed to see changes made to it if the country has to move forward.
