There is more bad news for consumers as the price of local butter increases from tomorrow.
The Prices and Incomes Board has announced that effective from tomorrow the wholesale and retail price of locally made butter will increase.
The price of 500 grams Butter will increase from $3.27 to $3.32, and 250 grams Butter which currently costs $1.70 will cost $1.71 cents from tomorrow.
However the Price of 125 gram or quarter pound butter will remain the same at 91 cents.
The PIB advises that the prices will vary in various centers depending on cartage and transportation costs.
