Butter prices will increase from today.
The price of 500g butter will now be $3.55, the 250g butter will now be $1.84 while the price of the 125g or the quarter pound butter will now be 99c.
The Prices and Incomes Board (PIB) said these increases are due to the continued strengthening of the Australia and New Zealand currency against the Fiji dollar.
Consumers and traders are advised that prices will vary in other areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
