With the aspiration of buying his elderly father a gift for Christmas and collecting money for his school fees, 13 year old Paula is not deterred by the perils of dodging vehicles and frowning pedestrians as he weaves through the streets of Suva with his wheelbarrow in search of business.

Fijivillage news spoke to the Wheel barrow boys who operate out of the Suva Market today who are having a very busy week catering to the needs of rushing shoppers.

We spoke to Paula who said he has been able to make around $30 every day since last Saturday. He said he does not mind the hard work as he wants to buy his father a special gift for Christmas.
