Top local businessman and chairman of the FMF Group of Companies Hari Punja has questioned whether the current government has taken any action in relation to a 2005 ADB report of a reformed taxation structure.
While raising the issue in the 2010 Budget Forum, Punja said the report had an interesting suggestion and asked whether any consideration will be given to it.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said the report has been analyzed but no action has been taken as yet.
