A 21 year old businessman of Nadi has died after his car collided with a cane truck along the Nadi Back road last night.
Divisional Traffic Officer Western, ASP Richard Raju has confirmed the deceased overtook two vehicles at around 7pm when he lost control and hit a cane truck laden with cane.
The businessman who was alone in his car died instantly.
The truck driver has been interviewed and released pending investigations. The post mortem is expected to be conducted later today.
