There may be some good news for the Fiji Rugby Union before the year end as some businesses have shown interest in sponsoring Fiji rugby.
Last month FRU called for expressions of interest from companies who are willing to sponsor their respective products from Kaji rugby to the Flying Fijians.
As the applications close on the 18th of this month, FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said the response has been unbelievable so far.
Waqabaca added that Digicel Fiji has also shown interest.
FRU is hoping they will finalize the sponsorships by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7s team arrives in Nadi at 6:40pm today with the Dubai 7s trophy.
