Businesses have to be honest and responsible with the quality of their goods and services.
These are the sentiments of Attorney General Aiyaz Saiyaad Khaiyum who was Chief guest at the "Made in Fiji" and "Buy Fiji" consultations held yesterday in Suva.
This was in response to an issue raised for the need for a regulatory body to assess the quality of Fiji made products.
Khaiyum said there are regulations already in place by agencies.
However, Khaiyum said businesses still need to be responsible with their products and not at the expense of negligence.
The initiative by the Government is geared towards the promotion of local products.
