It will take some time for business to normalize in Labasa as shop owners are now assessing the damages done to their properties.
President of the Labasa Chamber of Commerce, Ashok Karan said shop owners in Labasa were lucky as they did not face the full brunt of Cyclone Tomas.
Karan added rural areas in Labasa are the worst hit.
Karan said power supply in Labasa town is expected to normalize today.
