As Christmas is just 5 days away and with the rush to get last minute shopping done businesses in the capital city are ready to tackle the mad rush which will be experienced within the next couple of days.
Fijivillage asked some businesses owners how they have been preparing for the Christmas season.
Meanwhile, good news for people as retailers in the capital city will also be open for business on tomorrow.
Suva Retailers Association President Himmat Lodhia confirmed that business houses have been requested to open till 3pm on Sunday to allow people extra time for their Christmas shopping.
Lodhia also said that there will be free parking in Suva on Sunday and they are requesting people to take advantage and beat the Christmas rush next week as there will only be three days to do any last minute shopping!
