Good news for thousands of residents of Lokia and Kavanagasau, Sigatoka, as bus services have resumed in their area from this morning.
Resident Pratap Chand said they were without bus services for over ten months and Maharaj Buses has just started servicing the area.
He said school students and people going to work were full of smiles this morning while boarding the buses to their destinations.
According to Chand, it is unclear how many trips the buses will make from Sigatoka town to their area in a day.
Meanwhile, LTA spokesperson Ratu Eroni Volavola said the Maharaj Bus Company has shown keen interest in servicing this area as their trips have not started officially.
