The Fiji Bus Operators Association said buses will not operate until the roads and debris are cleared in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Mick last night.

Association General Secretary Rohit Latchan said majority of the roads are still closed and buses throughout Fiji will not be operating unless the roads are cleared.

He said that passenger safety is paramount to them.

Meanwhile, on power supply, the Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) said they cannot say right now when power supply is expected to normalize in areas that have been without power.

Chief Executive Officer Hasmukh Patel said it will take some time as they are still assessing the situation.
