Police are still studying the report it received from Australian Federal Police in relation to the tragic bus fire in Malaqereqere, Sigatoka last year which claimed the lives of twelve people.

Director Traffic SSP Ramendra Raj said they will need some more time to study the report, after which a decision will be made if any charges would be laid on the driver and the bus company.

According to Raj together with the report from AFP, they are also studying reports from the National Fire Authority, the report from Public Works Department, the statements of various witnesses as well as the post mortem reports of the twelve deceased.

Raj refused to divulge more on the AFP report.

The twelve died after the Raiwaqa bus they were travelling in caught fire in Malaqereqere, Sigatoka.
