Police are now into their final stage of investigations into the Raiwaqa Bus fire in Sigatoka which claimed 12 lives before those who were responsible can be brought to justice.
Director Traffic Mahesh Mishra said only then can they ascertain whether any charges will be laid against Raiwaqa Buses Limited.
Mishra also said once investigations are complete, the LTA will decide whether the permit for the bus company is to be revoked.
The LTA report into the bus fire incident had highlighted the bus was unfit to take passengers as there was insufficient work done on the bus to ensure its safety before its journey, as the mechanics working on the bus did not test drive it.
The findings also alleged that the company also breached requirements on the driver's driving hours.
He drove over ten hours and had just returned from Pacific Harbour when he was again sent for this fateful journey.
