Preparation for school examinations is suffering as a result of the parents not being able to afford the bus fares of their children.
Director for ECREA's Economic Injustice Program Semiti Qalowasa said they have been receiving a few letters from schools in the Suva area seeking their assistance as children miss classes during these important weeks.
Qalowasa said this is a very important time as the FSLC and FSFE examinations are just around the corner.
Qalowasa said they have sent out survey questionnaires and a report will be compiled then forwarded to the Education Ministry, LTA and other parties involved.
