A 41 year old bus driver appeared in the Nadi Magistrate court yesterday whose bus went down a slope in Navutu between Sigatoka and Nadi on Wednesday claiming two lives.
Sumesh Chand who is facing two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death has been remanded in custody, and will reappear in the Nadi Magistrate court on Monday.
No plea was taken yesterday.
Magistrate Nazim Sahu Khan told Chand to seek legal advice and arrange an assurity when he reappears on Monday.
