Police have questioned the 28 year old bus driver in relation to the bus accident yesterday afternoon in Logani.
Divisional Traffic Officer Inspector Josefa Delailomaloma confirms about 40 passengers were traveling from Dawasamu to Nausori when the incident happened, however, all escaped serious injuries and were sent home last night. He said a vehicle examining officer will inspect the vehicle today to determine the cause of the accident.
He added that it is believed the bus driver was speeding as the bus driver told police that the steering wheel locked and he could not negotiate a bend which caused the bus to veer off the road and tumble down a slope.
