The Digicel Fiji 7s team will have the services of vice-captain Seremaia Burotu for the USA 7s in Las Vegas this weekend.

Burotu was red carded in the 12 5 loss to Samoa in the New Zealand 7s and had to miss the semifinal and the final of the plate competition.

Fiji Rugby Union High Performance Unit manager Talemo Waqa has confirmed that Burotu appeared before the IRB disciplinary committee and was handed a 3 week suspension but manager Tevita Waqairawai appealed the decision as it was his first offence on the circuit and the committee later reduced the suspension to two games.

Meanwhile, Waqa added that assistant coach Josateki Savou will arrive in the country tonight before they make a decision on whether Savou travels with the team to Las Vegas.

The Fiji 7s team is in Pool C in the USA 7s with Canada, Scotland and Australia.

Fiji will play Canada in their opening pool game on Sunday at 7.52am.
