"Stand by the team as we are ready to put our hearts on the line for our nation."
That is the call from Digicel Fiji 7s team vice captain, Seremaia Burotu as the team prepared to fly out this morning.
Burotu who bagged "Player of the Tournament" in the Dubai and South Africa leg of the series, said despite the squad being fairly young, the general public need to stand by the team.
He added the knowledge that Fiji will be entering the Tournament this Friday as defending champions has prepared the boys to put their bodies on the line.
The New Zealand 7s tournament in Wellington kicks off this Friday at 1pm and Fiji plays its first match at 1.44pm against France.
Fiji's two other pool matches will be against Canada at 4.40pm and South Africa at 9.12pm.
