‘I want to dedicate my silver and bronze medals to my dad who died when I was still in my mothers womb’
Those are the words of Emosi Bure arriving back home in Raiwaqa after winning silver medal in the 800 metres and bronze in the 1500 metres Open Men's Oceania Athletics Championship in Australia.
The Queen Victoria School form seven student said that it was his wish that his dad could be there to see his achievements.
He added that he also wants to dedicate his medals to his mother in the village.
