Revenge isn’t a word Pierre Spies would like to use, but the gigantic Bulls captain is pretty keen to eradicate some demons when his side steps out onto AMI Stadium to face the Crusaders on Saturday.

The Bulls were beaten 28-13 in their last encounter in Christchurch in last year's finals qualifiers.

Spies himself was ordinary in the match, his big frame rendered useless by a Crusaders forward pack which took to their opposition like vultures and the 1.94m giant isn't keen to relive the memory this weekend.

The Crusaders will take on the Blues at 6.35pm on Saturday while Kings clash with the Chiefs at 5.10am Saturday morning, Reds will play the Force at 8.20pm.

Meanwhile on Friday at 6.35pm, the Highlanders play the Hurricanes while the Waratahs take on the Cheetahs at 8.20pm.

On Sunday, at 3.05am, the Sharks face the Brumbies.
