Much has been made of the Bulls’ strength when playing at Loftus Versfeld and Victor Matfield is hopeful their good run will continue when they face the Brumbies in their Super Rugby semifinal.

The Bulls are yet to lose on home soil this season and only suffered a defeat during their 2012 campaign.

The Bulls head into the match having enjoyed a one week break after ending pool play with a disappointing defeat at the hands of the Stormers.

Meanwhile, Brumbies coach Jake White who coached the Springboks to win the 2007 Rugby World Cup said that Australian rugby players are smarter than their South African rivals.

The Bulls will face the Brumbies at 3am this Sunday in the second Super Rugby semifinal.

The Chiefs will host the Crusaders at 7.35pm Saturday in the first semifinal.
