Bulls manager Wynie Strydom, has one simple wish tonight and that is to win against the Crusaders.

Strydom said he is praying that they win and if they do it will be one of the greatest days of his life.

Strydom, who has managed the Bulls since 1997, has never won in Christchurch and unless they return for a play off against the Crusaders at AMI Stadium there will be no more chances.

He said he has never missed the Crusaders horses do their circuit during their pre-match routine.

The 61-year-old said when those horses go around the field it is very intimidating and the players will not see it because they are inside but he always walk out to see them.

Meanwhile the Crusaders have more reasons to be even more desperate tonight as they have not won a game yet this season.

The match kicks off at 6.35 while 8.40 the Reds host the Force.

Last night the Hurricanes beat the Highlanders 23 19, the Waratahs lost 26-27 to the Bulls while this morning the Chiefs beat the Kings 35-24.
