The Hansons Makoi Bulldogs are well on track to defend their Vodafone Cup title.

In the quarterfinals last night, the Bulldogs edged rivals Dee Cees Nadera Panthers 10-8 in a tough encounter with a try from Captain Etika Rokobuli and three penalties from Josua Niumataiwalu.

In the other quarterfinals, Tawake Tagivakatini of Hotbread Kitchen Nabua Broncos scored their winning try in extra time to beat the Police Sharks 26-24.

Meanwhile, in the quarters at Prince Charles Park today, Sigatoka Electric Sabeto Roosters will take on CK Ezy Buy Topline Warriors at 1pm while KBL Saru Dragons faces Burenitu Cowboys at 2pm.
