Makelesi Bulikiobo will create another history today. She is the first ever athlete from Fiji to compete in the World Indoor Championship in Spain.
Bulikiobo qualified from the Oceania region after finishing 2nd in the 400 metres final and winning the 200 metres final at the Australian Athletics championship last weekend.
The top sprinter who may win the FASANOC female athlete of the year award tonight will compete in the 400 metres heats today.
