Fiji's sprint queen Makelesi Bulikiobo, a top nominee for the Fiji Sports Council Sportswoman of the Year Award - will be going for her second title in two years at this Friday's Awards night.
Also vying for the Sportsman of the Year will be Fiji Rugby Union's top referee James Bolabiu and Vodafone National Rugby League team coach Joe Rabele an inspiring sensation who helped the team reach its first ever World Cup semifinal in Sydney last year.
Speaking to Fijvillage, Fiji Sports Council Chairman Paul Yee confirmes there will be two guest speakers at the event.
A total of 57 nominees will be chasing for six special awards that will be up for grabs at this week’s Fiji Sports Council Awards night.
The Awards night begins at 6pm on Friday at the National Gymnasium.
