Former Ba and national rep Josaia Bukalidi will coach the Ba soccer team this year.

Bukalidi, whose goals helped Ba win numerous titles over a number of years, has now been asked to guide the Men in Black from the sidelines.

The former nippy striker who was well known for his fancy dribbling skills and cheeky smile after scoring crucial goals will have a tough job this season, as the Men in Black had a dismal performance last year.

However, Bukalidi will have an extra edge with him as he has played top level football for some years with Australian based club Marconi Stallions.

The Ba soccer AGM will take place on the 2nd of next month where Bukalidi will officially be handed the coach’s position.

Meanwhile, Ba soccer players started preparations for the Champions League competition a few days back.

The Men in Black play Navua on the 23rd of this month in its first match.
