Everyone is now eagerly awaiting the 2009 National Budget. This includes the residents of Delainavesi and Lami who are calling on the Lami Town Council to urgently prioritise their revenue and fix the ever worsening road conditions.
Resident, Wilbur Qumi said the council should relook at its expenditure and prioritise the fixing of the roads.
Traveller and resident, Joana Rakai said temporary sealings on the roads do not work and get easily washed away during heavy downpours.
Resident Paul Yaqona said people have been dealing with these bad road conditions for a long time with no solution in sight.
The Lami Mayor is expected to comment in the next hour.
