Matelita Buadromo recorded her second personal best time in the Swimming World Championship in Spain after clocking a time of 2.12:31seconds in the 200 metres freestyle.

This was over two and a half seconds under her qualifying time, placing her first in her heat for Fiji.

Buadromo earlier shaved 10 seconds of her personal best time in the 200m Individual Medley earlier in the week.

Buadromo said it makes her want to train harder when she sees the world champions in action.
