The Brumbies have secured a place in the Super Rugby play offs when they beat the Rebels 39-17 with a bonus point.

The Brumbies moved to the top of the Super Rugby standings but they have played two more matches than their New Zealand and South African rivals.

In other results, the Waratahs extended their unbeaten record in Perth when they beat the Western Force 28-13.

Looking at the points table, the Brumbies leads with 59, Chiefs at second place with 56, Bull and the Reds at third place with 54 while Cheetahs and Crusaders at fourth place with 46 points.

The Super Rugby teams will take a break this week before resuming on June 28.
