Former Wallaby, David Nucifora said the Brumbies may have the edge over the Crusaders in the Super Rugby match today.

Nucifora who is also the former Brumbies coach who took the team to three consecutive finals before winning the 2004 Super 12 tournament said compared to the Crusaders, the Brumbies have been playing well so far.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Nucifora said Henry Speight will also be one of the players to lookout for.

The Brumbies and Crusaders match kicks off at 6.05pm today.

Meanwhile, Hurricanes captain Conrad Smith sat in a Pretoria hospital having x-rays on his neck as his team was comprehensively beaten 48-14 by the Bulls.

The centre was taken from the field on a stretcher after being knocked out going into a tackle, an injury that will rule him out of the match against the Cheetahs.

Last night the Highlanders recorded their first win of the season after they beat the Sharks 25-22.

Elsewhere, the Reds were held to an 11 all draw by the Force and the Waratahs hammered the Kings 72-10.
