Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham says his team's performance in their 19‑39 Super Rugby victory over the Stormers at Newlands was one of their best in years.

The Brumbies outclassed the Stormers in all aspects of the game including the lineouts and the scrums which was where the Stormers were expected to have the edge.

The Brumbies victory sees them progress to the Super Rugby semifinal where they will face the Hurricanes in Wellington this Saturday.

Stephen Larkham says it was a memorable day for his club.

Meanwhile the Brumbies will be eager to find out the punishment that will be handed to winger Henry Speight.

The Brumbies will face the Hurricanes in the first semifinal at 7.35pm Saturday while the Waratahs will host the Highlanders at 9.40pm.

After sealing their place in the semifinals of the Super Rugby the Brumbies will be eager to find out the punishment that will be handed to wing Henry Speight.

Speight was shown a red card against the Stormers after an off the ball incident in the 74th minute where he appeared to tip tackle Stormers captain Juan De Jongh.

The incident was the only sour note in the Brumbies’ courageous 39‑19 victory over the Stormers in Cape Town.

The Brumbies will face the Hurricanes in the first semifinals at 7.35pm Saturday while the Waratahs will host the Highlanders at 9.40pm.
