Lightning struck twice for the Hurricanes last night as they crashed to a damaging 37-25 loss to the Brumbies in Wellington.

The Hurricanes sixth loss puts them in must win territory for the remainder of the season that still includes tough matches against the Chiefs and Crusaders.

Meanwhile the Brumbies have pulled off another epic Super Rugby victory to strengthen their position at the head of the Australian conference to 44 points.

In today's matches: the Highlanders will face Bulls at 5:30pm, Crusaders play Blues at 7:35pm, and Reds face the Lions at 9:40pm.
