Former national 7's rep James Brown will captain Suva in the Tahiti 7's this weekend.
Brown who is also the non travelling reserve in the Flying Fijian team was in the Fiji team that won the Hong Kong 7's.
Other well known players in the team are Canterbury bound Patrick Osbourne, former USA rep Jovesa Naivalu, Police winger Tikiko Uluiviti and former Lelean U-19 captain Sakenasa Aca.
Manager Akuila Rokobuli said the players are going in to do Fiji proud in Tahiti.
Suva is in the same pool with New Zealand Legend, Australia Invitation and USA.
The capital city side leaves Nadi at 3pm for Brisbane before flying to New Caledonia then to Tahiti.
The Tahiti 7's will also have other FORU countries taking part in the top competition to determine which team will go through to the IRB 7's series in Wellington, Las Vegas and Hong Kong.
