New Zealand based James Brown had to sacrifice his overseas duties to play for the Digicel Fiji Sevens team at next week's Hong Kong Sevens tournament.

Brown is a member of the Crusaders Development team and was named by the national selectors in the 16-man Fiji training squad for the third leg of the IRB World Sevens Series.

Brown said he always had a dream to play for Fiji in Sevens and the sacrifice he has made is nothing when compared to representing the country where he was born.
