Broncos to be without Gillet due to shoulder injury

The Brisbane Broncos will be without Queensland and Kangaroos forward Matt Gillet due to a shoulder injury for tonight's clash against the Roosters.

Brisbane were already reeling from the one match suspension of Kangaroos forwards Sam Thaiday and Josh McGuire this week.

Gillett had been named to make his return from an injury sustained in State of Origin game 3 for Queensland, but coach Wayne Bennett opted to cut Gillett despite the back‑rower training on Wednesday.

The Broncos battle the Roosters at 9:50 tonight.
