The Brisbane soccer team has won the Kshatriya World Cup 2013 after beating hosts Suva, 1-nil at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.
This is the first time Brisbane has won this title.
They defeated Auckland 3-nil in the semi final this morning.
Suva beat Ba 3-1 in the first semi final.
Nadi who were the defending champions failed to qualify to the knockout stages.
In results yesterday, Nasinu 0-1 Auckland, Sydney 0-0 Nadi,
Brisbane 2-1 Melbourne, Suva 1-0 Lautoka.
In the Veterans Match, Suva Stars lost to All Stars 1-nil and Ba defeated Auckland 2-0.
The last tournament was held in Ba in 2011 as this tournament is held every two years.
