The person who led the Suva soccer team to win the Vodafone Fiji FACT after a long 17 years said he still has a lot to offer to Fiji soccer.

Gurjeet Singh is not new when it comes to creating history as in the last two decades he has enjoyed many glorious moments with various teams.

It all started in 1994 when Singh led the Tailevu Naitasiri soccer team to win the IDC in the Premier division after 23 years.

It did not stop there as Singh then joined Nadi and led the jet-setters to win the IDC in 1998 after 24 years.

Singh then led Nadi to win the IDC again in 1999.

Singh was then approached by former Navua Soccer President, Anil Sharma to help the Southerners win some major titles.

Singh who is from Mataniqara, Ba took up the challenge and guided Navua to win the Fiji Fact in 2008 and 2009.

But the most memorable win for Navua under Singh’s guidance was the IDC win in 2009 which Navua won in the Super Premier division for the first time.

Singh then decided to make a move to Labasa and he led the Babasiga Lions to win the IDC after a long 17 years at the National Stadium.

We asked Singh what is his winning formula.

Meanwhile, Suva soccer will hold its Vodafone Fiji FACT celebrations tomorrow.
