The Vunidawa Bridge is now open to traffic
This has been confirmed by Works Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete however she said they have put up a temporary bailey bridge which can only take trucks weighing up to 10 tonnes.
She adds the Bailey bridge was opened yesterday, and repairs continue on the Vunidawa Bridge continues which was damaged during Cyclone Mick.
