Stephen Brett will replace Luke McAlister's at first five eight for the Blues against the Crusaders on Saturday night.
McAlister moves back to second five eighth after having an off night in last Saturday's loss to the Chiefs, which included five straight missed shots at goal and five missed tackles.
The Crusaders host the Blues on Saturday at 7.35pm.
