For the first time ever in Fiji, Hospitals and Health Centres will witness many mothers breastfeeding at the same time this morning.

To mark the Breastfeeding Week which starts from today, health officials in Fiji have taken the step to promote breastfeeding in a different way this time.

Gynaecologist Doctor Pushpa Nusair said this program is organized in Australia, New Zealand and other countries every year, however, to teach breastfeeding mothers more about the benefits of it, they will start the program called "Fiji Latch-on" at 10.30am today.
