Police today made a breakthrough in the investigations in relation to the series of robberies in the Southern division over the past few weeks.

Two men have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the robberies.

The two men are aged 38 and 32 and have been charged with three counts of robbery and one count of theft.

This is all part of the ongoing focus on curbing serious offences such as aggravated robberies and theft of motor vehicles.
