Bread prices will also be going up from today due to the increase in the price of Baker's Flour and Wholemeal Bakers Flour.
A long loaf unwrapped bread will now cost 70 cents while the long loaf wrapped bread will be 71 cents.
PIB said when it comes to unwrapped and wrapped bread it’s up to the customers as some demand that the bread not be wrapped.
The price of a wrapped or sliced 400g milk loaf or white bread will be 74 cents while a wrapped loaf will cost 73cents.
Wholemeal medium wrapped and sliced 800 gram bread will cost $1.45.
PIB said the prices will differ in other areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.
