The price of bread and breakfast cracker biscuits will decrease from today.
The Prices and Incomes Board (PIB) had announced that the price of a 375 gram breakfast cracker packet price decreases from $1.37 to $1.23.
There are also price reductions for other sizes.
The price of long loaf also decreases. One long loaf will cost 66 cents, down from 70 cents.
An 800 gram of whole meal loaf or sliced bread price decreases from $1.45 to $1.37, while 200 grams of wholemeal loaf will cost 41 cents.
The PIB said these prices are for the cities of Suva and Lautoka, and Ba, Lami, Nadi, Tavua, Nausori and Nasinu and the areas within 5 kilometers from any of the post offices situated at Korovou, Navua and Rariraki.
