Brazil put on a very impressive performance as they won their World Cup play-off game against Chile 3-0.

The win means that Brazil have kept their unbeaten Pool run alive and will take on Netherlands in the World Cup quarter final stages next week.

This will be the fourth time that the two sides are facing off in the FIFA World Cup in 1974, 1994 and in 1998, with Brazil winning two out of the three encounters and making their win this morning the third time that they have knocked Chile out of the FIFA World Cup.

The goals from Juan, Luis Fabiano who slotted in the second goal in four minutes of the first half while Robinho scored the crucial decider goal in the 59th minute of play to set up a quarter final showdown with the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Netherlands ended World Cup debutantes Slovakia's fairy tale run with a 2-1 win.

Netherland's have had a 100% record in South Africa-winning all their qualification games for the tournament and now have a record of 23 games unbeaten.

Looking at the quarter final showdowns, Netherlands will face off with Brazil, Ghana will take on Uruguay, and Germany will face off with Argentina while one more spot is left open.
