FIFA World Cup favourites, Brazil and Argentina are now tipped by soccer pundits as the teams to beat in South Africa after the second round of pool games were completed this morning.

Only four teams have so far confirmed their spot in the second round of competition where the Pool winners and runners up from the 8 pools will progress into the second stage of the competition.

The four teams are Argentina, Brazil, Netherlands and Chile.

In Pool A, Uruguay and Mexico will play at 2am tomorrow morning and a draw in this game will mean both sides will qualify for the second round.

Also France and South Africa will play at 2am to avoid any match fixing and the 1998 champion, France together with the host nation of the World Cup will just have to wait for the results of the other game to see where they will stand in the points standing.

France coach Raymond Domenech says some of his players may refuse to face South Africa because of Nicolas Anelka's expulsion from the squad.

Speaking through a interpreter Domench says the challenge is now for the players to come out with a win.
