Springboks 7s scrumhalf Branco du Preez and Junior Springbok Cheslin Kolbe have both returned to the Springbok 7s squad for the next two rounds of the Sevens World Series in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.

Top try-scorer for South Africa in the last season Cornal Hendricks, has joined the Cheetahs for their Super Rugby campaign next season and is unavailable, while Seabelo Senatla and veteran Paul Delport are still recovering from injury and were not considered.

South Africa is pooled with Argentina, Russia and Dubai 7s defending champion Samoa in Pool D.

Fiji’s first game is against USA at 8.16pm this Friday, then Canada at 12:46am Saturday before facing England in their last pool match at 5.02am Saturday.
