Breast Cancer is real and the Bra Art Competition is just one of the ways to let people know that.
Those are the words of breast cancer survivor of 9 years, Mereoni Taginadavui who said this competition's awareness can also let people know that there is life after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Taginadavui advised that it is always a good thing to visit the hospital early.
The Fiji Cancer Society said so far according to the Health Ministry there has been 87 breast cancer cases last year however the Society said the figure could be much more as many cases are not reported and deaths not attributed to breast cancer.
There are a million cases of breast cancer worldwide every year.
The Bra Art Competition entries will be on display on the 25th of October.
